ACHA Hockey Downs Milwaukee-Wisconsin At Home Twice

Hope College's American Collegiate Hockey Association team is now 4-2 in the season after sweeping the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at home 8-4 on Friday and 9-4 on Saturday.

On Friday, Jakub Myska scored first for Hope and was followed by Skylar Miller in the first period.

Austen Peterson contributed two goals to start the second period. Jake Faustyn added a goal.

Maxwell Mones, Riley Draper, and Austen Peterson finished off the scoring for the Flying Dutchmen.

Goalie Austin Kane totaled 36 saves.

Saturday's 9-4 win was led by Allan Hirsch, pictured, Jake Faustyn, Bradley Baysore, and Brendan Sanders, all who contributed a goal within the first period.

Riley Draper and Jakub Myska both chipped in goals.

Hope finished off the last period with goals scored by Jakub Myksa, Allan Hirsch, and Noah Arent.

Kane had 39 saves.

Hope will compete again on Friday, October 26 at Indiana Tech and then again on Saturday, October 27 at home.
