ACHA Hockey Skates To Win And A Tie Vs. Central Michigan

Hope College's American Collegiate Hockey Association team is now 9-2-1 overall with a 7-1 win at home against Central Michigan University on Friday, and a 3-3 tie on the road with the Chippewas on Saturday.

On Friday, forwards Brad Baysore, Allan Hirsch, and Max Mones, pictured, all contributed goals that established a lead right away for the Flying Dutchmen.

Defenseman Jakub Myska, forward Ethan Pinto, Peter Stewart, and Brendan Sanders also scored.

Goalie Austin Kane totaled with 11 saves, while Lukas Shut stopped four shots on goal.

Saturday's game went into overtime. Mones chipped in two goals. Baysore had one.

Austin Kane stopped 29 of 32 shots on goal.

Hope will play away next Friday, November 16 at 8:30 p.m. at the Suburban East Lansing Ice Arena at Michigan State and then home against the Spartans on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Griff's IceHouse West.
