Erin Herrmann Clocks Fourth-Fastest Steeplechase Time Ever At Music City Classic

Hope College's Erin Herrmann now owns two of the fastest 3,000-meter steeplechase times in the history of NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field.

The senior from Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS) clocked a personal-best run of 10 minutes, 13.39 seconds on Friday at the Music City Distance Classic in Nashville, Tennessee.

The elite race counts towards NCAA Division III times.

Herrmann's effort was the fourth-fastest in Division III history. She finished ninth at the Music City Distance Classic.

Last month, Herrmann posted the ninth-fastest steeplechase time all-time en route to a Division III national championship in the event. She went 10:21.08 on May 27 in Geneva, Ohio. | PO Box 9000, Holland, Michigan 49422
