Mike Aldrich (’07) has been coaching with the Hope College men's basketball program since the 2010-11 season.

Aldrich has been a varsity assistant and junior varsity coach.

Aldrich hails from Okemos, Michigan, and started his coaching career as a four-year student assistant coach under Hall of Fame coach Glenn Vanwieren.

After graduating from Hope College with a degree in kinesiology, Aldrich spent two years as a graduate student at Michigan State University. He graduated from Michigan State in 2009 with a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in coaching. 

While at Michigan State, Aldrich spent one season as an assistant coach at Olivet, Michigan, High School, learning under the tutelage of Coach Brian Dartt. Aldrich returned to Hope in 2009 and has spent the past five seasons with the Flying Dutchmen.

Aldrich spends his time away from the court managing trusts and is a co-founder of Jump To It, an organization that conducts basketball camps for underprivileged boys and girls in urban communities.  He also spends the off-season traveling and working summer basketball camps for various Division I institutions across the nation.  

Aldrich’s wife, Emily Corstange (’11), works in sports medicine for Spectrum Health System in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
